Grand River Solutions provides a wide range of harassment and discrimination response and resolution services to schools and colleges delivered by individuals with direct, hands-on experience in education and equity work. Grand River Solutions Title IX and Equity services allow institutions to delegate some or all of their Title IX and equity needs on an interim or ongoing basis. We work with schools that need long-term support, as well as those who are experiencing short-term gaps in staffing due to leaves, prolonged searches, or hiring freezes. Reporting to the Managing Directors, the Director of Title IX Coordinator/EEO Services provides leadership, direction and management to GRS staff serving in a delegated Title IX or equity services role, as well as managers and other supervisors within that unit, and is responsible for the overall management, administration, and success of the unit. The Director shall have a strong understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Title IX Coordinator, EO Director, and 504 and ADA Coordinators, and shall have had extensive experience serving in the role of EO Director or Title IX Coordinator, as well as experience in managing staff, managing budgets, strategic planning, inspiring collaboration, and promoting growth both for individual contributors and the organization as a whole. The Director of the Title IX Coordinator and Equity Services team will have responsibility for staffing and hiring plans, staff performance and work quality (including client satisfaction), billable rates, business forecasting, and development of strategy to ensure that high quality work is being performed by all team members in keeping with GRS standards. The Director will also be expected to have a role in developing those standards. The Director will regularly interact with relevant senior management regarding budgets, personnel decisions, billable rates, forecasting, strategy, and hiring plans.

The Specialist will work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to legal standards.
