Job Summary:
Curran is looking to add another superstar to their growing team. In the Business Development Manager role, an individual will focus their efforts on driving business growth for Curran by identifying new opportunities, developing business solutions, and managing client accounts. This role requires great communication and attention to details.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifying new prospects: research new markets and identify new business opportunities
- Building relationships with clients
- Basic understanding of sales contracts
- Attending networking events: Conferences and company events to stay up to date on industry trends
- Developing business solutions: new sales ideas and strategies to generate revenue for the company
- Preparing status reports for leadership and internal teams
- Exposure to pipeline and how it correlates to sales/margin goals
- Collaborate with the Sales Team on RFP’s and project award status updates
- Manage CRM with the Marketing Department
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Clear understanding of business and sales growth techniques
- Ability to work within a team of sales and marketing professionals
Education & Experience:
- Experience in the construction industry (marketing, or sales-related experience a plus)
- Degree in Business Management, marketing, construction, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working within CRM / Sales software preferred
