Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Administrator to join our team in the construction industry. In this role, you will support the estimating department by assisting in the preparation and submission of accurate and timely information for bids. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing Bidding Documents
- Reviewing and understanding bid requirements
- Ordering bid bonds
- Coordinating bid deliveries
- Solicitation of subcontractors
- Understanding DBE requirements of the project
- Order payment and Performance Bonds
- Execution and Review of contracts
- Complete prequalification packages from owners / General Contractors
- Assist contract administration during estimating slow periods
- Prepare subcontracts
- Prepare owner required paperwork
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to do some local travel by driving between job sites, office, and meeting locations
- Detail oriented with a focus in accuracy
- Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office, as well as OneDrive
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents
- Excellent communication abilities
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred
- IDOT experience preferred
- Experience or familiarity with the construction industry preferred
- Experience with contract terms and construction build processes ideal

The intended salary range for this role is 70-90k depending on skills and experience plus a target bonus of 10%.
