Job Summary: 
                The Accounts Payable & Certified Payroll Cooridnator is responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing weekly check runs, and maintaining accurate compliance documentation in support of construction operations. This role also oversees the preparation and submission of certified payroll reports. Working closely with project managers and vendors, the coordinator ensures proper coding, approval workflows, and regulatory adherence using Viewpoint Vista. Strong attention to detail, construction industry knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this position.


Duties & Responsibilities: 
Accounts Payable 
-          Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently using Viewpoint Vista and AP Wizard. 
-          Match purchase orders and receiving documents; ensuring invoices are properly coded and approved. 
-          Maintain vendor compliance documentation, including W-9’s, certificates of insurance, and lien waivers. 
-          Prepare weekly check runs, including EFT and paper checks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 
-          Maintain accurate vendor files, track 1099 data, and assist with year-end reporting. 
-          Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate cost allocation. 
Certified Payroll & Compliance 
-          Prepare and submit certified payroll reports (WH-347 and state-specific forms) in accordance with regulatory and client requirements. 
-          Verify timecard entry accuracy and ensure proper labor coding to jobs, phases, and wage classifications. 
-          Track prevailing wage determinations, fringe benefits, and union reporting requirements. 
-          Upload certified payroll and compliance documentation to systems such as LCPtracker, eMars, and Elations. 
-          Maintain organized records to support audit readiness and agency requests. 
-          Stay up to date on Davis-Bacon and state prevailing wage laws. 
 
Required Skills & Abilities: 
-          Strong administrative and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
-          Prior office experience required; Accounts Payable and Certified Payroll experience strongly preferred. 
-          Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and document management systems. 
-          Experience with Viewpoint Vista preferred (AP, JC, PR modules). 
-          Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across departments and with external partners. 
-          Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
 
Education & Experience: 
-          High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred. 
-          3+ years of administrative, accounting, or payroll-related experience preferred. 
-          Construction, public works, or union reporting experience a plus. 
 
Working Conditions: 
-          Must be able to sit for extended periods at a desk and use computers, phones, and other office technology. 
-          Occasional travel to job sites, company events, or training sessions may be required; may involve brief exposure to outdoor conditions or active construction environments where employees must comply with Curran’s safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). 
-          Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs of office or events materials as needed.

This role is targeting a range of $50-65k and is eligible for the company's incentive bonus program.
