The Regional Safety Specialist is responsible for leading and promoting a culture of safety at the University Park, IL plant location. This position partners closely with plant leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices. Regional Safety Specialist will help oversees employee safety training, conducts audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and develops corrective actions in partnership with Operation leadership to reduce workplace risk while supporting Holland's commitment to achieving zero injuries. While the primary focus of this position is supporting fixed plant operations, the Regional Safety Specialist may also provide periodic safety support, audits, investigations, training for railroad field operations, and other company locations as business needs require.

The Director of Operations – Fleet and Equipment will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all MOD PM shops, mobile welding assets, and assigned fixed locations. This role has overall responsibility for fleet and equipment performance, including maintenance, refurbishment, utilization, and uptime across the division. The Director will lead a team of managers to ensure safe and compliant PM shop and field operations, while also owning the end-to-end Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program, including planning, scheduling, execution, and continuous improvement. This position ensures alignment with divisional objectives related to safety, profitability, equipment reliability, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong coordination across operations, scheduling, inventory, safety, and support functions, along with ownership of key performance metrics and financial performance. The Director is accountable for compliance with Holland policies and all applicable FMCSA, DOT, FRA, and OSHA regulations, and for driving continuous improvement through data, systems, and team development.

May also be required to operate track mobile, scissor lift truck, and aid in stacking operations at the unload site. They will also assist in all phases of material handling, including door operations, and mobile equipment operations.

The General Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the unloading of Coal, Coke and Limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co. & additional customers. May also be required to operate track mobile, scissor lift truck, and aid in stacking operations at the unload site. They will also assist in all phases of material handling, including door operations, and mobile equipment operations.

To assist in delivery of Coal, Coke & Limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co & additional customers using end dump, belly dump, or live bottom trailers. May also be required to operate track mobile, and aid in stacking operations at the unload site, and equipment transportation on lowboy trailers.

Responsible for scheduled maintenance and break down repairs of all equipment employed in the operation of material handling, including trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoes, track mobile, dozers, motor graders, unload conveyors, stacking conveyors, coal conditioners and pickups.

Working from Electrical drawings will assemble or repair products using standard shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, micrometers, digital voltmeter, other devices to measure current, resistance and amperage. This could include precision instruments requiring interpretation. Will work with voltages ranging from 480V to 5 volts. Will also include the diagnosing and correcting of problems. various tasks from testing, assembly, disassembly, servicing, repairing, reassembling of equipment. Focus on improvement through Lean processes and practices. Use hand and power tools, micrometers, digital volt meter, other devices to measure current, resistance, amperage, hydraulic pressure, and fluid flow. Use precision instruments requiring interpretation. Work from electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of equipment and products.

Assembly and repair of all Holland products. Focus on improvement through Lean Manufacturing processes and practices. Use hand and power tools, micrometers, digital voltmeter, other devices to measure current, resistance, amperage, hydraulic pressure, and fluid flow. Use precision instruments requiring interpretation. Work from electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Check own work, and work of others to diagnose and correct problems. Where applicable, employee must be willing to work with voltages ranging from 480V to 5 volts. Show proficiency to weld with stick and MIG. Must be able to use standard hand tools and shop equipment. Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of all Holland products. At times may lead small groups of fellow employees.
