About Us Grand River Solutions provides a wide range of harassment and discrimination response and resolution services to schools, colleges and universities, and workplaces delivered by individuals with direct, hands-on relevant experience. The ADA/504 team provides interim or ongoing ADA and §504 Coordinator support and equity position services, as well as consulting, coaching, and mentoring assistance to schools and organizations. These services are designed to assist clients with their equity and access goals and with their compliance obligations under the ADA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other related federal and state laws. Team members may be assigned to provide one or more services to one or more institutions at the same time. Position Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Director of Title IX and Equity Services or their designee, the Specialist’s primary responsibility is to assist experienced team members in providing §504 or ADA support to clients. Under the supervision of a more senior team member, tasks include researching policies, revising or updating training materials, reviewing client websites to locate information, collecting and organizing evidence, drafting intake summaries and drafting clear, understandable, and error-free communications. The ADA/504 Services Specialist may also be asked to take notes during client meetings or party/witness interviews, and otherwise assist with other elements of a client’s prevention, response, resolution, or accommodation processes.

The ADA/504 Services Associate may also be asked to assist with intake meetings, take notes during client meetings or student/employee interviews, and otherwise assist with other elements of a client’s access and equity compliance processes.
