To assist with all functions related to providing quality rail services to Holland’s customers. Possess the ability to train upcoming personnel. Must maintain Holland Company’s equipment and fill in for Supervisor/Manager in their absence.
This is a Design Manufacturing Engineering position supporting strategic objectives relating to the Lean Production efforts of existing and new products. Utilize engineering “best practices” to provide all aspects of production from concept, design verification, production, inspection, and testing to field start-up. Responsible for meeting customers’ functional and performance requirements for mobile welding and testing equipment serving global markets, along with being a key interface between the Shop Floor and the Engineering Team.
Working from Electrical drawings will assemble or repair products using standard shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, micrometers, digital voltmeter, other devices to measure current, resistance and amperage. This could include precision instruments requiring interpretation. Will work with voltages ranging from 480V to 5 volts. Will also include the diagnosing and correcting of problems. various tasks from testing, assembly, disassembly, servicing, repairing, reassembling of equipment. Focus on improvement through Lean processes and practices. Use hand and power tools, micrometers, digital volt meter, other devices to measure current, resistance, amperage, hydraulic pressure, and fluid flow. Use precision instruments requiring interpretation. Work from electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of equipment and products.
Assemble and weld turn table winches and brake chains producing a quality product within the customer’s specifications.
The Product Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage HoTT’s product lines including: identifying new product opportunities based on customer needs including design oversight, manufacturing considerations, market planning and product launch; manage product line lifecycle including product enhancement and retirement considerations along with financial goals; provide as needed support for the RFQ process and VOC initiatives, assist with safety stock evaluation, help assess product make vs buy evaluations and manage new product tollgate milestones. This position will effectively manage a variety of projects, as well as Field Service resources. Other responsibilities include researching and building product line road maps with a focus on the various rail car types to identify new product and company acquisition opportunities.
Responsible for recruiting, staffing and selection practices, interviewing, training, management development, employee retention, EEOC, labor relations, wage and hour, policies, and procedures.

Holland Company is seeking a General Laborer for our East Grand Forks, Minnesota facility. The General Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the unloading of Coal, Coke and Limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co. & additional customers. May also be required to operate track mobile, scissor lift truck, and aid in stacking operations at the unload site. They will also assist in all phases of material handling, including door operations, and mobile equipment operations.
Responsible for scheduled maintenance and break down repairs of all equipment employed in the operation of material handling, including trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoes, track mobile, dozers, motor graders, unload conveyors, stacking conveyors, coal conditioners and pickups.
The Track Laborer will work as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, maintain existing track and right-of-way.

Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of all Holland products. At times may lead small groups of fellow employees.
Performing various tasks from disassembly, servicing and repairing, reassembling welding equipment or new welding equipment for Holland to meet the objectives of the Annual Preventative Maintenance program.
