The Procurement team is an integral part of Holland operations and is directly responsible for the success of manufacturing and the uptime of field support along with making a bottom-line impact. The Purchasing Intern will assist the buyers across a wide range of activities related to preparing and managing purchase orders, working across multiple vendors to manage product deliveries, assisting with invoice discrepancies and other such areas. This individual will gain a better understanding and sound introduction to the buyer role within purchasing which will assist in their professional growth and give them working knowledge into the area of supply chain.
The Accounting Intern will assist with a wide range of projects related to research, reporting, reconciling, analyzing financial data and assist with other accounting duties as needed. The individual will have the opportunity to learn and gain first-hand experience and be better prepared to work in the field of Accounting.
This mechanical engineering position supports the Lean Production efforts of existing products. Utilizes engineering lean “best practices” to provide all aspects of product design from concept, design verification, production, and testing to field start-up. Responsible for meeting customer’s functional and performance requirements for mobile welding and testing equipment serving global markets.
Assembly and repair of all Holland products. Focus on improvement through Lean Manufacturing processes and practices. Use hand and power tools, micrometers, other devices to, hydraulic pressure, and fluid flow. Use precision instruments requiring interpretation. Work from hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Check own work, and work of others to diagnose and correct problems. Must be able to use standard hand tools and shop equipment. The Material Coordinator (MC) is responsible to ensure effective flow of materials to the HEBU (Holland Equipment Business Unit) organization. The MC is also known as the “Water Spider.” The primary role of the MC is to support production with materials – especially in those cases where there are gaps in existing systems. The MC will also assist in other material-related functions such as ordering raw materials in support of the fabrication department. The MC must ensure that proper material transactions take place to ensure inventory accuracy.

The Manufacturing Manager will promote a culture of excellence by ensuring the business unit goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost are consistently met or exceeded. The Manufacturing Manager will promote a culture of continuous improvement (CI) by working daily to improve products and processes while also utilizing formal CI project techniques. This position is responsible for the management and oversight of maintenance and facilities for Holland’s Crete and University Park locations.
