Innovation Content Creator - Remote

Job Type: Part-time; 15-20 hours/week; 
Location: Remote; Some in-person travel required (based in Greater NYC Area) 
Status: Contract
Duration: 12-week commitment  
Compensation: $20/hour 

Overview of the process:  

  • Candidates are required to upload a resume and a content sample showcasing a short-form video you have created.  
  • We are particularly interested in seeing work that demonstrates your ability to create educational videos or social media campaigns. 
  • Candidates who do not have existing content samples will be asked to create a 30-second to 2-minute video on a sample prompt.  
  • Once we review your resume and content sample, we may schedule an interview with you.
Key responsibilities: 

  • Develop a diverse range of engaging and creative video content for trainings organized by GRS 
  • Produce 10+ short form videos per week related to the training topic assigned 
  • Edit and enhance existing video content  
  • Collaborate with fellow students to generate content ideas, and encourage participation from various groups and student organizations to create content 
  • Participate in team meetings 
  • Attend 3-4 in-person weekend events 
  • Other tasks as assigned 
Skills and Competencies: 

  • Ongoing associate’s, bachelor's, graduate/professional degree  
  • Proven experience in content creation and video editing. 
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva or equivalent. 
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram or Snapchat 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for creativity and innovation. 
  • Basic understanding of Sexual Harassment prevention, Title IX, and Sexual Misconduct prevention education. 
  • Involvement in on-campus student groups and organizations is desirable.

Candidates who do not have existing content samples must create a video explaining the different strategies someone could use to intervene as a bystander (e.g., The 5 D’s– direct, distract, delegate, delay, document).  
We are interested in seeing a creative approach to explaining and educating someone on bystander strategies.
