Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Data Engineer with over 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, and hands-on experience with AWS services. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data storage solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Optimize and maintain Redshift MPP databases for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data systems.
  • Develop and maintain data models and database schemas.
  • Implement data storage solutions on Amazon S3, ensuring efficient and cost-effective data management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and perform necessary maintenance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and architecture.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Hands-on experience with Redshift MPP databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with Amazon S3 for data storage and management.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
:
  • Experience with other AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, and Athena.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Understanding of data governance and security practices.
  • Have worked with Healthcare data before.
