Data Architect - Remote

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet project requirements.
- Ensure that data models align with data governance and privacy requirements, supporting compliance and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
- Oversee data integration and transformation processes, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to data engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in data architecture.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate data management tools and technologies, including Databricks, Snowplow Analytics, Alation, OneTrust, and Avo, to enhance data architecture capabilities.
- Conduct regular reviews of data models and architectures, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles.
- Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with a strong understanding of data design principles.
- Proficiency with Databricks, Snowplow Analytics, Alation, OneTrust, and Avo, including experience with their respective ecosystems.
- In-depth knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and high-quality data solutions.
