About the Role
As an Interface Analyst, you will play a critical role focusing on the conversion and migration of client data from large health systems, along with the successful integration of Eon solutions with its customers and their third-party applications (Primarily Epic). Reporting to the Interface Analyst Team Lead, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare IT, HL7/FHIR standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute data conversion plans, leveraging HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other industry-standard protocols to extract, transform, and load client data into our software solutions.
  • Support product integrations and implementations with large health systems, hospitals and third part vendors such as Epic and other EMRs/HER’s.  
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of converted data, identifying and resolving discrepancies, formatting issues, and other data-related challenges.
  • Nice to have experience with data conversions, including data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation.
  • Document specifications, processes, and validation results, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for reference and audit purposes.
  • Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on data conversion processes, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Implementations, Data Science, and Customer Success, to enhance data migration and integration capabilities and streamline implementation processes.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with Epic and large health systems 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on integration, data conversion and migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of large health system data standards, including HL7 (v2.x, v3) and FHIR, with hands-on experience implementing integration solutions.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing healthcare IT systems, with experience using APIs, ETL tools, and data migration software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is desirable.
