Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR). The right SDR candidate will be one who has experience with an outbound motion, works well in a smaller startup environment, is not afraid to try new things, and can self-motivate day in and day out. The primary responsibilities will be to schedule meetings with identified client prospects by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients. This person can easily initiate relaxed but informative two-way conversations that drive prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.

An ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in SaaS B2B/B2C enterprise products for medium to large enterprises.

Ownership & Responsibilities
  • Set 8 - 10 new meetings per month
  • Identify, research, organize, and manage a target list of ~500 potential companies (with multiple contacts within each company)

  • Lead Qualification: Assess leads to determine their fit, readiness, and potential for purchase, using BILT’s qualification criteria to prioritize high-value prospects
  • Lead Follow Up: rapidly respond to all inbound leads
  • Relationship Building: Initiate and nurture early-stage relationships with prospects to build trust and guide them through the sales funnel
  • Basic Discovery: Understand prospective customer problems at a high-level, and be able to articulate how BILT uniquely solves those problems
  • High-Level Demo: Conduct mini-software demonstrations (less than 5 minutes) to convey the high-level value that BILT provides to customer problems
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing and sales teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and strategies to optimize lead generation and qualification
  • Reporting and Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), track key performance metrics (e.g., meetings booked, conversion rates, etc.), and provide regular updates to the sales team
  • Market Feedback: Share insights from prospect interactions to help refine BILT’s value proposition and sales approach and determine what is and isn’t working Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers, including enterprises, retailers, and manufacturers, who would benefit from BILT’s 3D interactive Intelligent Instructions®

  • Experience working in a small startup (75 people or less) environment is preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience prospecting and/or selling to large manufacturers (e.g., Fortune 1,000) is a plus
