About the Role

BILT is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to own core infrastructure, identity management, and on-site technical operations. This is a hands-on role that combines systems administration with daily physical presence—managing the platforms and devices that the business runs on, and serving as the go-to person in the building for anything that requires direct intervention. The position also includes administration of the building’s physical security systems. The environment is compliance-conscious, with active ISO 27001 certification.

Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

●  Administer Microsoft Entra ID—user lifecycle management, conditional access policies, application registrations, SSO/MFA configuration, group and role management.

●  Execute identity lifecycle procedures: provisioning, role changes, and offboarding in coordination with HR.

●  Manage access controls across M365, SaaS platforms, and cloud environments.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

●  Administer the M365 tenant: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams. License management, feature configuration, and tenant-level policy decisions.

●  Manage endpoint configuration through Intune/MDM—enrollment, profiles, compliance policies, and patching coordination.

●  Support secure configurations for cloud environments in coordination with the engineering team.

On-Site Infrastructure, Endpoint & Physical Security

●  Set up, image, and deploy workstations for new hires across both Windows and macOS.

●  Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, conference room AV, and workspace technology requiring hands-on intervention.

●  Support on-premises network infrastructure—Fortinet firewall and switching, wireless, cabling.

●  Administer building physical security systems—access control (card readers, secure room access), entry cameras, and remote door access.

●  Manage IT asset inventory—tracking, auditing, and lifecycle management of user workstations, mobile devices, network hardware, and peripherals. Coordinate procurement, receiving, and disposition.

Service Management & Compliance

●  Work within Jira Service Management for ticket triage, service request fulfillment, and change request execution.

●  Maintain security configurations aligned with ISO 27001 controls and support audit evidence collection.

●  Participate in change management processes and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Required Qualifications

●  2–5 years of experience in IT systems administration.

●  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)—user management, conditional access, application registrations, SSO/MFA.

●  Microsoft 365 tenant administration—Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, license management.

●  Endpoint management across both Windows and macOS environments. Mac proficiency is essential.

●  Experience with MDM platforms (Intune preferred).

●  Basic networking knowledge—switching, firewall concepts, VLANs, DNS/DHCP.

●  Comfortable with on-site, hands-on work—hardware setup, troubleshooting, cabling.

●  Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

●  U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

●  Familiarity with compliance frameworks—ISO 27001, NIST 800-53/CSF, or similar.

●  Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ITSM platforms.

●  Relevant certifications: Microsoft (AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

●  Experience with Apple Business Manager, DEP, or Mac-specific MDM (Jamf, Mosyle, Kandji).

●  Experience administering physical access control systems (card access, cameras, door controllers).

●  Fortinet experience.

●  Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.

●  Comfort working alongside AI-powered operational tools.

Work Environment

●  On-site role based at BILT’s Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas.

●  Office hours: Monday through Friday. Specific schedule coordinated with the Manager.

●  Physical demands include routine computer use, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and hands-on hardware work.
