Lead Business Analyst - Sri Lanka

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, objectives, and constraints. Analyze and clarify requirements to ensure a thorough understanding of the business needs.
  • Functional Specifications Development: Translate business requirements into detailed and well-structured functional specifications. Create user stories, use cases, process flows, data models, and other documentation to effectively communicate requirements to development and testing teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement improved business processes.
  • Project Management Support: Work closely with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and tracking project progress against established timelines.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, specifications, and project progress. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into project performance and business metrics.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent qualification.
  • 04+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Candidates holding professional certifications relevant to their respective areas will be considered an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
