Key Responsibilities
- Stained Glass Installations: Lead and execute the installation of stained glass windows for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring precise and flawless workmanship.
- Safety Compliance: Attend safety meetings regularly and enforce safety protocols on worksites to create a safe and secure environment for the team and clients.
- Worksite Travel: Travel to various work sites for stained glass installation and removals, meeting project timelines and client expectations.
- Restoration Support: Assist with commercial restoration stained glass installations and removals, contributing to the stained glass team's success.
- Payment Collection: Collect payments from customers upon successful completion of stained glass installations, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Vehicle and Materials Maintenance: Ensure the work van is properly maintained and stocked with necessary materials for installations, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
- Material Pickups: Facilitate material pick-ups as required, coordinating with suppliers to obtain necessary resources for projects.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of installations, adhering to the company's standards of excellence.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients professionally and address any inquiries or concerns related to the installation process, providing excellent customer service.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address any installation challenges or issues that may arise during projects, employing effective problem-solving skills.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to installation team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a safe working environment for all team members and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process improvement and share valuable insights to enhance installation procedures.
- Other Duties: Fulfill other duties as assigned, actively contributing to the success and growth of the stained glass company.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Valid Drivers License and clean drivers record
- Clean and professional appearance
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients' needs are met throughout the installation process
- Glass installations or relevant experience
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Desire to expand skill set across other divisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and suppliers professionally
Physical Demands
Capable of lifting heavy stained glass components, regularly 25 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs and working in various environments, including elevated heights and confined spaces
