SimX is a fast-growing startup bringing virtual and augmented reality to medical simulation training. Our product is the first comprehensive professional-grade VR medical simulation system, and it is used by our customers to train physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals. THE JOB
The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting SimX's marketing initiatives by coordinating events, managing promotional materials, and ensuring seamless collaboration with external partners. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other promotional events.
  • Event Marketing & Coordination: Support the strategic planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, webinars, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Work with our graphics team on deadlines for booth assets, print materials, and swag coordination. 
  • Partnership Support: Monitor and track partnership deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of marketing deliverables and collaboration on joint campaigns or initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of promotional items, track usage, and coordinate orders for new stock as needed.
  • Participate in daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects and initiatives.
  • Help in building or developing current products, learning materials, and deliverables.
  • Communicating with partners and case authors about promotional events involving their products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of experience as a marketing assistant or associate.
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Permanent residence in the United States.
This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must live within the United States and will primarily be expected to work during business hours Pacific Time. In addition, candidates will also have the opportunity to attend major simulation conferences.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Familiarity with marketing or CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
  • Prior experience in a marketing or administrative role is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Target salary range: $50,000-75,000 annually; commensurate with experience
  • Remote work environment
