As a Research and Grants Coordinator, you will play a key role in the pre- and post-award grants management process for sponsored research and development projects. This includes proposal and budget development, developing and running sponsored research program processes, collecting, analyzing and producing information related to sponsored research at the company, producing and contributing post-award planning, reporting, and compliance activities, and contributing to strategic planning and outreach initiatives for R&D. Your work will directly impact policies and programs, driving innovation and improvement within our organization.
The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. The base program is a four-month, remote experience built on the assumption of work scheduled 8 hours per day, five days a week.
As a Senior Unity Engineer, you'll be working on our core VR product, which is a multiplayer first-person virtual simulation environment experienced by learners on the Oculus Quest and Vive Pro. As a startup team member, you'll have a wide variety of responsibilities that will evolve as our needs change. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new features from initial concept to deployment. You'll also help provide support to our customers, including new or modified features and addressing technical issues. You'll be working on features within the VR environment as well as features in our standalone "moderator" application used by teachers to run our simulations. Our software is primarily written in C# in Unity on Windows.

SimX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented in-house Accountant to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of the financial operations, the Accountant will be responsible for managing and updating our budget, following up on accounts receivable, handling invoicing processes, and contributing to the management of lenders and external capital sources. This role involves close collaboration with the CFO, leadership team, and cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Accountant will play a key role in SBIR grant billing and forecasting.
As a Virtual Reality QA Tester, you will be testing medical education scenarios that run on our multiplayer, first-person VR platform. This is a fast-paced role that works directly with our Scenario Production and Engineering Teams. You will be primarily responsible for testing our training scenarios as they progress through the development pipeline, and investigating and reporting bugs in a clear, actionable manner. Other responsibilities include testing the product on a range of supported hardware including VR headsets and computers, creating test plans, and identifying areas for QA improvement.
