We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our inside sales department. As a SDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of our sales team. 

This role is one of the first touch points for prospects, and it provides the opportunity to develop relationships with prospects and set the tone for the following sales cycle. Success in this role will be achieved by the employee who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, is highly self-motivated, employs consultative selling skills, and has tight collaboration with the sales team they support. 

This is not a siloed position. We want a collaborative and energetic individual who can contribute to the sales team, work in a dynamic environment, deliver messaging, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance. You will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by more seasoned sales professionals. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Collaborate with the sales executives to identify top target health systems in each territory 
● Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential leads 
● Reach out to prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach 
● Articulate and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services to potential clients 
● Schedule initial briefings and presentations for the Sales Executives to showcase the benefits and features of our offerings 
● Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach; providing in-depth executive summaries to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos and turn your Sales Executive into a guru ahead of their calls 
● Consistently meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 60 - 70 activities (calls/emails) per day 
● Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure Initial Briefing and Demo goals are met 
● Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by diligently updating our CRM, Salesforce, with accurate and thorough notes, documenting all activity in CRM application, and scheduling all follow-up calls 
● Regularly report on qualification and call activity 
● Stay up-to-date on new positioning, personas and collateral, product enhancements, competitors and industry trends 
● Pay close attention to the more senior sales team members to help you acquire the skills you’ll need to advance your role within the sales team. 

Skills and Qualifications 
● Bachelor's Degree required 
● 2-3 years previous sales experience 
● Must possess strong communication and negotiation skills. 
● Must be innovative and a fast thinker. 
● Strong interpersonal and influencing skills 
● Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
● Knowledge of SaaS is preferred 
● Self-starter with an execution mindset focused on exceeding sales outcomes 
● Proven ability to qualify, establish contact, set meetings, and follow-up on leads from numerous sources 
● Active listening skills and ability to tailor a solution to meet prospects’ needs 
● Excellent telephone etiquette and active listening abilities 
● Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets 
● Willingness to learn and adapt to changing sales tech
