ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
·                  Working in full compliance and procedures of the Holland Company Safety program to ensure a safe working environment.
·                  Being compliant with all Holland Company and HAMR Operating Policies and Guidelines. 
·                  Providing troubleshooting and technical assistance to HAMR Group operating personnel on all equipment issues.
·                  Troubleshoot and repair of various welding control systems and other related equipment.
·                  Use of various necessary machine manuals to be able to perform quality control testing to determine operational condition of equipment.
·                  Assisting with repairs on equipment in shop environment.
·                  Be able to calibrate equipment for proper operation.
·                  Continued training on understanding the manufacture, operation, and application of the various types of Holland machines and control systems.
·                  Utilizing Holland’s NCR (Non-Conformance Report), OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) and Continuous Improvement Programs.
·                  Interface and assist with other Holland and HAMR Group Department functions with regards to maintenance, upgrades, and equipment improvements.
·                  Assist in monitoring adequate levels of recommended spare parts for HAMR Group equipment.
·                  Provide oversight to fixed facility in Crete related to safety, refurbishment of frogs, troubleshooting equipment and annual overhaul. 
·                  Will be required to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of emergencies.
·                  Unscheduled traveling to various site locations for troubleshooting emergencies with minimum notice.
·                  Occasionally assisting with in-house training program.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
·                  Must be able to travel extensively via ground and air.
·                  Ability to lift to 50lbs with reasonable accommodations.
·                  Standing, walking, bending, and working safely on rough, uneven terrain.
·                  Ability to climb in and out of mobile operating equipment and associated HAMR Group Equipment.
·                  Vision must be sufficient for reading instrumentation & measuring devices.
 
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:        
·                  Exposure on a regular basis to mostly indoor shop environment-dry conditions, heated shop, non-air-conditioned, concrete floor, including welding, grinding, cranes and fork trucks.
·                  Exposure to outdoor in all weather conditions.
·                  Occasional Office/cubicle environment.
·                  Wearing and use of all PPE and any additional safety related gear to perform job functions.
·                  Focused environment that supports safety and housekeeping practices.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·                  Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
·                  Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service including troubleshooting on various heavy industrial electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operated equipment. 
·                  2 years technical or business degree strongly preferred.
·                  Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of heavy industrial equipment (including remote operating personal and equipment via phone and other methods).
·                  Ability to read electrical, hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
·                  PLC programming knowledge required.
·                  Basic computer skills including excel, word, power point, etc.
·                  Have good math skills. 
·                  Employee should be quality conscious, self-motivated with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
·                  Excel with oral and written communication skills.
·                  Be detailed orientated with good organizational and paperwork skills.
·                  Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, employee’s, management, and vendors.  
·                  Good training and coaching skills.
·                  Position based out of Crete, IL. office location.
·                  Must be willing to travel extensively (including international) by ground and air with minimum notice.
·                  Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the Holland Vehicle Fleet Policy.
·                  Strongly preferred to have a Class A CDL and valid FMCSA/DOT physical card. 
·                  Possess and maintain a passport.
·                  Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen, physical requirement testing and E-Railsafe background check.
·                  Must be able to pass and maintain all required safety and background check requirements for access to all work sites required by Holland’s Customers (E-RAILSAFE, RWP, Contractor Orientations, etc.).
