ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Generate, maintain and execute the project date milestone schedule for each Mobile Welder from receipt of unit from Welding Technology until revenue ready.
- Review each new Mobile Welder to ensure compliance to specifications.
- Makes all necessary repairs to Mobile Welder to bring unit into compliance to specifications – both mechanical and electrical.
- Document and communicate all supplier nonconformances (NCR’s) using the Holland Quality System.
- Work with procurement and suppliers to resolve all nonconformances on a timely basis. Manges all supplier repair appointments.
- Manages and completes all external services required to bring a Mobile Welder into revenue ready status including, but not limited to, completing DOT inspection, hi-rail testing, and weighing.
- Document all corrective actions in the HEBU system tracker.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement (OFI’s) using the HEBU Mobile Welder system tracker.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Complies to all Holland PPE guidelines (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots) as needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Shop environment including assembly, welding, overhead cranes and fork trucks.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Dusty, smoky, damp, dark.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ten or more years of electrical and mechanical experience with heavy equipment
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- CDL License
- Requires travel to local suppliers and to address field concerns (10%)
