This role will drive a daily CI culture, resulting in improved safety, business process effectiveness, efficiency, customer satisfaction and financial performance. Lead and facilitate CI initiatives established as part of strategic plans and the Business Management System (BMS) using CI principles (Lean, root cause analysis, etc.). The position is responsible CI efforts Holland-wide
Assembly and repair of all Holland products. Focus on improvement through Lean Manufacturing processes and practices. Use hand and power tools, micrometers, other devices to, hydraulic pressure, and fluid flow. Use precision instruments requiring interpretation. Work from hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Check own work, and work of others to diagnose and correct problems. Must be able to use standard hand tools and shop equipment. Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of all Holland products.
Utilize engineering “best practices” to provide all aspects of product design and development from concept, design verification, prototype testing, production, and leading up to the release of product. In addition, provide technical support to existing product lines for the division.
The Production Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage HoTT’s internal production requirements, inventory management, and warehousing activities as described. Additional responsibilities include participating in ideation and new product development activities; occasional field visit to end user location for product performance evaluation; assist in forecasting activities and overall work as a key advisor to general manager.
Handle all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments.
The Product Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage HoTT’s product lines including: identifying new product opportunities based on customer needs including design oversight, manufacturing considerations, market planning and product launch; manage product line lifecycle including product enhancement and retirement considerations along with financial goals; provide as needed support for the RFQ process and VOC initiatives, assist with safety stock evaluation, help assess product make vs buy evaluations and manage new product tollgate milestones. This position will effectively manage a variety of projects. Other responsibilities include researching and building product line road maps with a focus on the various rail car types to identify new product and company acquisition opportunities.

Responsible for scheduled maintenance and break down repairs of all equipment employed in the operation of material handling, including trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoes, track mobile, dozers, motor graders, unload conveyors, stacking conveyors, coal conditioners and pickups.
To assist in delivery of coal to American Crystal Sugar Co & additional customers using end dump, belly dump, or live bottom trailers.
JOB SUMMARY: To assist in delivery of coal, coke & limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co & additional customers using end dump, belly dump, or live bottom trailers. Holland Company is seeking a General Laborer for our East Grand Forks, Minnesota facility. The General Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the unloading of Coal, Coke and Limestone to American Crystal Sugar Co. & additional customers. May also be required to operate track mobile, scissor lift truck, and aid in stacking operations at the unload site. They will also assist in all phases of material handling, including door operations, and mobile equipment operations.
The General Foreman will be responsible for the overall performance of the Crew/Mobile Welder vehicle and welding equipment. The candidate must be able to interface with railroad personnel and perform flash butt welding specifications to meet quality guidelines. Extensive travel is required.
The Track Laborer will work as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, maintain existing track and right-of-way.
To assist with all functions related to providing quality rail services to Holland’s customers. Possess the ability to train upcoming personnel. Must maintain Holland Company’s equipment and fill in for Supervisor/Manager in their absence.
The Grapple Truck Driver will drive, operate and maintain a Hi-Rail Grapple Truck, often times as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, maintain existing track and right-of-way.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of Argus systems with the requirements provided by product leadership team. This role requires strong collaboration and communication with multi-disciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, hardware engineers, software developers, field application engineers and product leaders working in a DevOps environment.
Performing various tasks from disassembly, servicing and repairing, reassembling welding equipment or new welding equipment for Holland to meet the objectives of the Annual Preventative Maintenance program. Work to improve overall productivity, quality and reliability of the operating equipment and the program.
