THE JOB
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Education Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a nursing consultant, collaborating with nursing academic and hospital institutions to ensure seamless integration of SimX's simulation technology. Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert guidance, identifying education/training gaps, and facilitating the implementation of our platform to meet the evolving needs of nursing education.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical and simulation best practices, helping clients customize and integrate our simulation software into their curriculum.
- Assess client needs, demonstrate our software’s capabilities, and present tailored solutions that align with educational and clinical goals.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective clients, showcasing the software’s benefits in improving nursing education through simulation.
- Develop visually pleasing and educational sound presentations that tailor to different audiences and delivery methods.
- Lead or assist in onboarding, and educational training sessions ensuring presentations are engaging and impactful.
- Align VR simulations with national/international healthcare standards, including AACN essentials, Joint Commission requirements, NCLEX test plan and CMS conditions of participation.
- Oversee new nursing content development in collaboration with clients and the SimX production team.
- Disseminate virtual simulation best practice and strategies through abstract submission, conference presentation, virtual webinars, and manuscript submission.
- Assist in research development related to IVR technology and its impact on nursing education.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required
- Strong background in nursing education (five years or more)
- Proven experience in simulation technology and implementation
- Familiarity with educational theories, and simulation best practices
- Understanding of relevant nursing standards and scope of practice
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Customer service driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel to conferences/customers. Average 1-2 trips per month.
This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must live within the United States. In addition, candidates will also be expected to attend major simulation conferences and/or in person consultation meetings potentially as frequently as monthly.
PREFERRED SKILLS

- Terminal degree in Nursing Education or related field
- Specialty certification (NPD-BC, CNE, CHSE, or similar)
- Leadership experience in a healthcare or academic institution
- Experience with Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) technology
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Target salary range: $90,000-110,000 annually; commensurate with experience
