SimX is a fast-growing startup bringing virtual and augmented reality to medical simulation training. Our product is the first comprehensive professional-grade VR medical simulation system, and it is used by our customers to train physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals. Since our product has become generally available, demand has exploded and we're in need of new team members to move our product forward.

THE JOB
The Account Manager role is responsible for the success of SimX’s existing customers by developing trusted relationships within accounts, creating new opportunities via SimX’s product suite, and driving revenue retention. We are looking for a collaborative and highly engaged Account Manager to drive revenue growth across a set of existing customers while looking for ways to enhance the customer journey post-sale. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Capability
  • Own, drive and manage the customer journey from sale to renewal – ensuring customer retention, up-sell/cross sell, and customer satsifaction
  • Maintain book of business and communicate any retention risk to internal resources in order to develop resolution strategies
  • Hit or exceed pre-determined sales goals and customer success metrics to ensure consistent revenue growth and satisfaction over time
Business/Commercial/Account Management
  • Lead multiple customer touch points by engaging key stakeholders across the customer journey
  • Partner with our Customer Success and Educational Services teams to develop account strategies and ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Delight every SimX customer with each interaction and play a key role in developing the market reputation of SimX as we scale and evolve our products to meet the customers’ needs
Product/Technical
  • Deliver impactful product trainings/demos, provide meaningful insights, and recommend creative ways to get the most out of SimX
  • Become a strong technical product expert through training and deep utilization of SimX’s products
  • Support and drive customer understanding of and appreciation for the SimX product roadmap 
  • Be the voice and champion of the customer to the product team and other cross functional organizations
General
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the post-sale process internally
  • Assist in developing new and improved internal process to make the Account Management team more effective
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and results using Salesforce

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of an Account Manager within SaaS or similar. .
  • Strong track record of meeting sales objectives such as quota and productivity requirements
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) as well as office software like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Consultative selling experience resulting in growing existing accounts 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Permanent residence in the United States
  • Willingness to travel for work
This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must live within the United States. In addition, candidates will also be expected to attend major simulation conferences and/or in-person meetings potentially as frequently as monthly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in the healthcare industry (RN, EMT, Paramedic, PA, MD, DO, etc.)
  • Professional experience in military/government (Active Duty, Former Duty, etc)
  • Experience working  with a sales team in a remote work environment.
  • Experience with VR hardware and software.
  • Degree in business, healthcare administration, , or related field.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Target salary range: $75,000-$90,000 base with an additional $30K OTE 
  • Remote work environment
