Our product is the first comprehensive professional-grade VR medical simulation system, and it is used by our customers to train physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals. THE JOB
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursing Simulation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include close collaboration with SimX virtual reality design production specialists, providing expert guidance as the team designs and implements new VR simulation scenarios to meet the evolving needs of nursing education. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with VR designers and producers to create high-quality VR simulation scenarios
  • Interface with customers to understand their vision for new simulation content and assist the design team in translating customer visions into the SimX VR training platform
  • Provide in-headset acceptance testing of VR scenarios to ensure clinical accuracy
  • Align VR simulations with national/international healthcare standards, including AACN essentials, Joint Commission requirements, NCLEX test plan and CMS conditions of participation
  • Support Business Development, meeting with potential customers to explain SimX's current VR offerings and providing nursing educational services to customers
  • Support Research and Development, contributing to funding opportunities and active SimX research projects
  • Submit research abstracts to conferences and support scholarly work using the SimX platform, with potential national and international travel for presentations
  • Participate in occasional travel (3-4 times per year) to support customer education sessions, demonstrations or trade shows

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required
  • Strong background in nursing simulation education (five years or more)
  • Strong clinical expertise in varying nursing specialties. At least 5 years experience within clinical based nursing practice
  • Proven experience in various simulation modalities
  • Familiarity with educational theories and simulation best practices
  • Understanding of relevant nursing standards and scope of practice
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Substantial experience with common office tools like Microsoft Teams, Google Docs/Microsoft Office, and others
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel for work (3-4 times per year)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Permanent residence in the United States
This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates must live within the United States and while able to work in their prospective time zone, candidates will be expected to be available during Pacific Standard Time business hours for company meetings.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Terminal degree in Nursing Education or related field
  • Specialty certification (CHSE, CHSE-A, CNE, NPD-BC or similar)
  • Leadership experience in a simulation role
  • Experience with virtual reality (VR) and/or augmented reality (AR)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Target salary range: $90,000-110,000 annually; commensurate with experience
  • Remote work environment
