ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Perform complex payroll, treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable reconciliations.
- Provide insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of compliance-related documents, including worker's compensation information.
- Audit payroll files to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee annual insurance renewal processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants and accounting staff.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
- Perform other tasks as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions.
- Ability to lift up to15 pounds is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties.
- Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer.
- Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Indoor office environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This role will require to sign both a non-compete and non-solicit agreement. The candidate will be eligible for a $500 Sign-On Bonus for each form they sign, totaling $1000. This Sign-On Bonus will be paid out on the first pay period following date of hire.
