Salary range: $90,000-$110,000
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the Business Unit to develop management reports or analysis as needed by division or staff
- Analyze and monitor production costs, including direct material, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
- Prepare and review cost reports, product costing, and variance analysis.
- Lead development and maintenance of standard cost systems.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to cost accounting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to cost accounting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all cost-related activities.
- Key coordinator with respect to periodic forecast requirements and preparation of the annual plan
- Provide needs requirements analysis, including identifying and documenting current state and future state business processes.
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds is regularly required for filing and other record keeping duties
- Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer
- Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proven experience with cost accounting
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practice
- Advance abilities with Excel, Word, Microsoft Visio, Power Point and financial software packages as needed
- Proficient with ERP and costing software
- Proactive problem solver and hands-on strategic thinker who can work independently
- Desired experience with G/L management, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and payroll processing
- Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience and ability to effectively communicating financial concepts desired
- Attention to detail and accuracy
This role will require to sign both a non-compete and non-solicit agreement. The candidate will be eligible for a $500 Sign-On Bonus for each form they sign, totaling $1000. This Sign-On Bonus will be paid out on the first pay period following date of hire.
