Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Curran Contracting’s marketing initiatives by providing hands-on production, coordination, and administrative support across multiple marketing functions. This role assists with content creation, social media management, events, CRM administration, email marketing, and internal communications, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic marketing goals.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Business Development, Estimating, and field teams, the Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining Curran’s brand presence, supporting recruiting and client engagement efforts, and helping deliver high-quality marketing materials and experiences. This position requires strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Content & Digital Marketing
- Organize and curate a centralized library of photos and videos for Curran Contracting, Royer Paving, and Curran Asphalt Sales for advertising and promotional use.
- Collaborate with internal teams and field personnel to gather content and support scheduled events in alignment with the annual marketing strategy.
- Pitch weekly social media content ideas and trends that align with long-term marketing goals.
- Craft compelling, on-brand copy for social media posts across multiple platforms.
- Maintain and manage company social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ensure visual consistency, accuracy, and brand compliance across all digital platforms.
- Update and maintain Project Manager profiles and create new leadership profiles as needed.
- Assist with The Curran Connection external newsletter and The Scoop internal newsletter.
CRM, Email, & Data Management
- Maintain client contact lists and serve as the owner and administrator of the CRM system.
- Manage Constant Contact email lists and assist with email communications.
- Draft surveys, post-event follow-up emails, and manage survey responses.
Events & Brand Representation
- Support marketing, recruiting, and client-facing events from planning through execution, including on-site coordination when assigned.
- Take ownership of assigned event tasks, including setup, coordination with event leads, problem-solving, guest check-in, and breakdown.
- Serve as a Curran representative and point-of-contact at assigned events, ensuring a professional, welcoming experience for attendees.
- Manage RSVP lists and provide weekly updates leading up to events, including confirmations and follow-ups.
- Assist with sponsorship registrations, golf outings, and miscellaneous industry events.
Collaboration & Operations
- Serve as a liaison with field teams to collect project information and marketing content.
- Attend weekly Marketing, Estimating, and Business Development meetings as scheduled.
- Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Promotional Items & Internal Support
- Maintain inventory of marketing promotional items, including baby gift supplies, and provide monthly inventory updates.
- Reorder promotional materials as needed.
- Serve as the point person for Curran promotional merchandise, including collecting sizes and payments when required.
- Order VIP gifts and coordinate new-hire merchandise distribution.
- Maintain the Marketing Event Calendar.
- Participate in the CAGC Social Committee.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of experience providing marketing production or coordination support
- A/E/C or professional services industry experience a plus
- Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft 365 Applications (Teams and Forms)
- Proficiency in administering social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
- Knowledge of current and emerging digital marketing and media trends
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods both at a desk and while driving or riding in a vehicle.
- Regularly required to tour active construction sites and must comply with Curran’s safety policies, including wearing and maintaining required PPE (e.g. hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, hearing protection, safety-toe footwear).
- Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust) is common.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of materials, equipment, or presentation items.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a personal or company vehicle to and from job sites, meetings, and for other business purposes.

This role is targeting a range of $60-70k and is eligible for the company's incentive bonus program.
