Operations Manager - Nationwide

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Ensure that all Holland and MOD policies are being followed
  • Ensure that all aspects of safety are being followed
  • Oversee correct operational function of assigned units
  • Responsible for scheduling of all related support equipment of assigned units and labor
  • Perform safety, quality and housekeeping audits on any MOD unit as required by schedule
  • Ensure preventive maintenance is being completed on all assigned units
  • Responsible for financial performance of assigned units
  • Oversee that assigned personnel are doing all related communication compliance correctly
  • Participate in training and development of assigned personnel
  • Assist in recruiting and staffing requirements
  • Oversee completion of all necessary performance related appraisals for assigned personnel
  • Participate in strategic planning and complete assigned action plans
  • Hold regular staff meetings with direct reports
  • Respond to all emergencies related to unit operational performance affecting customer objectives
  • Required to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Scheduled and unscheduled traveling to various customers and site locations
  • Operations manager must display strong leadership qualities with the ability to closely mentor supervisors
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally via ground, air, or rail
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to walk and stand on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to climb in and out of mobile welders
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and lift
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 year technical or business degree required; Bachelors Degree in Business or like field preferred
  • Must be willing to travel extensively including international and ground, rail, and air travel
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and work with graphs
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment through the use of electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Possess basic mechanical skills
  • General computer knowledge
  • Be detailed orientated with good organizational and paperwork skills
  • Ability to properly communicate with associated Holland personnel and customers
  • Good coaching and training skills
  • Possess or ability to get a valid CDL drivers license & medical certification and meet the Holland Vehicle Fleet Policy
  • Ability to maintain a valid Passport
  • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland L.P.
