ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise Aries, Rangecam and Genesis development teams and act as a subject matter expert in on-premise or cloud-based solutions,
- Design and develop the overall technology strategy and architecture by aligning the IT strategy with the business goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement,
- Lead the design and development of the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring that it supports the organization's current and future needs. This involves defining the architecture principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and interoperability across systems and applications,
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team and other stakeholders. Mentor and coach other developers collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement,
- Assess new and emerging technologies, conducting research and analysis to determine their potential impact on the organization. They make recommendations on technology investments, considering factors such as reliability, scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. They participate in professional networks, attend conferences, and engage in continuous learning to enhance their knowledge and skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic office functions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is regularly required for photocopying, filing and other record keeping duties
- Vision must be sufficient for inputting data into a computer; Keyboarding skills that reduce the risk of carpal tunnel and other office related injuries
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually both domestically and internationally

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a software developer or an architect
- In-depth understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies
- Knowledge of enterprise software systems, including their architecture, components, and integration mechanisms
- Experience with database systems, data modeling, and data management
Preferred:
- Familiarity with enterprise application integration (EAI) patterns and technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and solution designs on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Experience with DevOps
- Experience with Apache, NodeJS and MySQL
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Innovative problem-solving abilities
- Clear thinking, reflected in code and documentation
- Willingness and ability to work with proprietary application development tools
- Excellent language and interpersonal skills
